House to home total renovation

We worked on this project together with the owner.

The wishes were simple;

Child friendly,

Not too trendy

Cosy, 

and

Guest friendly.

The owners loved to cook and entertain their friends. So that was where we started. We used the nicest part of the house for the dining. 

One of her biggest wishes was to create a focal point out of her stunning souvenir collection.

So we used the architectural elements of the room to create a beautiful display and got rid of the beam and the flue wall. 

They wished to have a bit of country touch in their master. A floral wallpaper, metal bed frame and country style massive side tables helped us give these nice country feels. To bring in a little glam we used a crystal chandelier over the bed.

Then we set about creating the perfect fairytale for the baby room. This was achieved by layering tulle and adding little flowers.

For her, the kitchen had to be the most used section of the house, so we kept it open and bright, using natural granite counter tops to offset the cold steel cooking counter.
